During Fat-ypus’ 10th year anniversary, it seems appropriate that we also celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the original super-fat ski, the A-lotta model. Having won awards from the magazines in every year of it’s existence, the A-lotta model shocked the public with it’s versatility even at 140mm underfoot!
Now in 2014 Fat-ypus has launched a new super-fat model, the Mack 5. Ten years later, with it’s quick turning 5 point design technology the Mack 5 threatens to steal some of the A-lotta’s thunder, but rumors of an on snow showdown between the two might be the only way to see if there’s really a new sheriff in town or if this mountain is big enough for the both of them?
